Mister Andrew
is the newest addition to our Day Care Staff. Andrew works with various parts of our Day Care Center program at the "central" Day Care Center and is the director of our before- and after-school programs at Turnpike Elementary School.
The son of Alan and Jane Weyl, Andrew has grown up all across "the fruited plain" and around the world, having been born in Boston, Massachusetts, living there for his first two years. Andrew's next stop was in the heart of Europe - Munich, Germany. At 5, Andrew's pre-teen travels brought him to settle in LaCanada, California. After spending six years in the land of sunshine and earthquakes, Andrew led his family in search of more nutmeg-gy climes to southern Connecticut, Greenwich, to be exact. Andrew graduated from Pomfret School - (ooh my - an academic powerhouse, exclusive and beautiful resident-Jr/Sr High School in eastern Connecticut) in 1999.
Andrew enjoyed success in the school's Cross-Country and Lacrosse teams.
Enterring Union College in Schenectady in the fall of 1999, Andrew became a resident of our fair state. Andrew played lacrosse for the Union College team and still loves to play on club teams throughout the northeast. Andrew became engaged to Kristen Scheu on May 22, 2001.
Andrew graduated Union College on June 16, 2003. He and Kristen were married on July 5, 2003 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. They now live in their new home on Balltown Road in Brunswick.
